How is everyone doing? I really do hope that you are all safe, healthy and happy during these crazy times in the world. In World War 2, young boys and men were sent to the war, women sent to factories and workhouses. All we are being asked to do is stay in our homes. You are doing this for your friends, families, and grandparents. We can do it and overcome this!
I don’t know about you but I can’t wait for all of this to be over so that I can do the following 6 things:
- See my boyfriend
- Hang out with my friends in real life rather than virtually
- Enjoy a cider in a sunny and peaceful pub garden after a long walk
- Go to concerts
- Visit museums and art galleries
- Travel to Menorca for my summer holiday hopefully!
Get comfortable and enjoy this weeks

A pink super moon lit the UK’s night skies last night!
Last night a PINK super-moon lit up the night skies of the UK. Supermoons have come to mean special full moons that occur when the moon’s orbit brings it closest to the Earth. They are said to bring special blessings or sometimes even a curse.
A supermoon will usually appear 14% larger and 30% brighter than the average moon. The moon isn’t actually that much closer to the earth, it’s just our brain interpreting it as a lot closer due to its brightness. Supermoons are very rare and this is said to be the biggest supermoon of 2020.

Slamdunk 2020 will not be canceled but instead postponed to September.
Those of you who have followed me for a while now, may remember my Slamdunk vlog from 2019. It’s a local festival to me in Hatfield, Hertfordshire with big and small Pop-Punk, Rock and Metal music. I love it and make an effort to go every year. I was sure that It would be cancelled with everything going on right now but fortunately, it has been postponed until September.
Sadly I cannot make the new date as hopefully, I am going away with my boyfriend however it’s great that the festival has not been canceled. Some bands can sadly not make the new date but I am sure that the Slamdunk team will find some great replacements for the lineup.
You can find the line-up and information HERE.

Keep your brain active with a virtual Harry Potter escape room ✧・゚:*
I love Harry Potter as many of my regular readers know, I am sure. Proud Hufflepuff through and through who is constantly re-reading the books or watching the films. I grew up like many others adoring the Harry Potter universe. I am also 3/4 Scottish and proud so I love to support that too!
Being stuck at home can be rather boring and you may soon find yourself reading all the books, watching all the movies and TV shows but I am here to rescue you. A virtually Harry Potter escape room has just been released. It’s such great fun and I would recommend it…

Weekly podcast ~ A Slice Of Life
My very amazing and talented friend has gone on from writing his own incredible book all about self confidence to now starting a podcast.
A slice of life discusses as you can imagine life struggles but in a very interesting and light-hearted way. There is nothing too heavy in the podcast but simply chats and conversations regarding topics from self-confidence and friendships to growing as a person and be the best version of you. I really do enjoy it and not just because I am proud of my friend. It inspired me to be the best version of myself, kind, selfless and happy. This will lift your spirits up and give you some calm and relaxing time in the day.

Clap for our wonderful NHS
The NHS are always working incredibly hard to keep our country healthy and safe but especially now during these tough times. Staff, Nurses and Doctors are putting their own health on the line to aid those struggling with this horrible Coronavirus. Here are a few ways you can help…
Communities all over the UK are coming together to support the NHS. The biggest way that you can show your support is staying inside and practicing social distancing. Do not get too close, sunbathe or make trips outside if you don’t have to. Do not take advance of your daily exercise and STAY HOME.
Another way which I am sure most of you will be aware of is standing outside your door on Thursdays at 8 pm and clapping/cheering to show your appreciation. It is simply incredible seeing communities come together to cheer, yell and clap. I felt so overwhelmed and proud of my community.
Another way that you can support the NHS is to shop. A fellow blogger Fleur De Force is holding an eBay charity sale in which all profits will go towards helping the NHS’s Intensive Care Units across the country.
You can watch her video HERE for more details in how to take part.
