Every year, I love seeing the latest advent calendars and choosing which one I’m going to treat myself to. I still have a different chocolate advent calendar each year but I love having a beauty one too now I’m older.
I decided I would help you guys out as choosing advent calendars can be so overwhelming. There are so many different types from different brands as well as different price ranges. I decided to help you guys out by writing a blog post all about my top picks.
I will include a range of calendars and prices(Up to £40). I will also do a range of calendars types such as; beauty, fashion, and homewares.
So without further ado here are my top picks for this year’s advent calendars.
(In no particular Order. Click the picture to shop)
So first up is this advent calendar from Cath Kidston. This calendar is £40 and it’s available from Boots or of course Cath Kidston direct. It is filled with beautiful body products and pampering treats. Anything from hand cream and cuticle oil to soap and lip balm can be found in this calendar in a range of scents too.
The calendar itself is beautifully British in keeping with the brand. It would look beautiful displayed as decor on a Chester draws or shelf. I just love the red, white and blue Christmas house scene with Santa Clause, royal guards and polar bears peeking out the windows.
This is great value and filled with beautifully packaged and good quality products that are perfect for your handbag, bedside table or upcoming trips. Grab before it sells out!
Next up, is this Wax lyrical candle advent calendar. This costs £22 and is available from Boots. It is filled with 24 luxurious festive scented candles for you to burn and enjoy in the run-up to Christmas.
I don’t know about you but I love candles all year around but my favorite time of year to burn candles is in Autumn and Winter in the run-up to Halloween and Christmas. This calendar contains four main scents; Gold, Frankincense & Myrrh, Vanilla & Cranberry, and Toasted Cinnamon. These candles are also vegan-friendly too which is great! It says that the burn time per candle is 150 hours too so I would say that this calendar is well worth the money!
Next up, is the Soap and Glory advent calendar. This Advent Calendar is £40 from Boots. It includes a range of beauty products from makeup to skincare and body treats.
I don’t know anyone who doesn’t love the brand Soap and Glory. I remember seeing the brand for the first time on the shelves in boots and falling in love with their pink packaging and sweet smelling scents. Soap and Glory are fab brand with affordable but good quality skincare, bodycare, and makeup items. You even get a pair of pretty pink tweezers in here and some full sized products as well as perfect travel sizes.
If you love lipstick as much as me then you are going to LOVE this Advent Calendar from Revolution. It’s available from Superdrug costing £40 and it includes 24 different lip products!
If you follow a YouTuber called Sophoesnails like I do then you will know that Revolution are a brand that you can trust for affordable yet amazing quality makeup. This advent calendar is great if either you love lip products or want to venture into experimenting with lip products too. At £40 this is great value too for 25 full sized lip products. You can buy two mac lipsticks for the price of 25 in this calendar. It’s one that I have my eyes on for sure!
If you’re interested in more than just lipsticks from Revolution then this advent calendar is a steal costing only £30 for 25 high-quality makeup products. It’s available from Superdrug. Not only does it include makeup but also a few brushes ~ Perfect!
I love revolution as a brand although they’re not one that I’ve spoken about very much on my blog. I own a highlighter from them it’s amazing. My friend who is an MUA makeup artist recommended it so if the brand is good enough for her then it’s good enough for me. £3 highlighter which I can sadly say that it’s better than my Chanel highlighter. Get your hands on this calendar as I feel like such a steal will sell out fast!
Last but not least is a Disney advent calendar. This is £7 from Superdrug and includes 12 Disney beauty items. Pampering products such as Lip Balm, Hand Cream, Nail Files and bath salts can be found in this advent calendar. All with the most beautiful Disney print packaging.
I love both Disney and Harry Potter so when I saw this advent calendar and its price I couldn’t wait to tell you guys about it! This is one for Disney and Beauty fanatics like me.
I hope that you guys enjoyed hearing my advice on this year’s most cost-effective advent calendars. There are so many exciting advent calendars out on the market today all with different products. You don’t have to pay an arm and a leg for a good quality advent calendar filled with exciting and luxurious treats.
