Whenever I have made these brownies I’ve received nothing but shining compliments and offers of payment in exchange for baking them. These brownies are pretty famous amongst my friends and family.
I decided to share this secret and amazing recipe with my followers so that you guys can make some delicious brownies too. I know it’s the beginning of the New Year and everyone is trying to get healthy but if you fancy a treat, these are the perfect thing!
The first thing is to make sure that you have all of the following ingredients for this delicious recipe.
- 185g unsalted butter
- 185g best dark chocolate
- 85g plain flour
- 40g cocoa powder
- 50g white chocolate
- 50g milk chocolate
- One punnet of raspberries
- 3 large eggs
- 275g golden caster sugar
- One baking tray
- Baking paper
- A wooden spoon
- Aesthetically pleasing dish to serve (Optional)
STEP ONE – Pre-heat your oven to 180C or 160 if you have a fan over.
Next, line your baking dish with some baking paper to avoid your brownies sticking to the baking dish.
STEP TWO – Cut 185g unsalted butter into small cubes and tip into a medium bowl. Break 185g dark chocolate into small pieces and drop into the bowl.
Next melt both together in the microwave keeping an eye on it so that you don’t burn the chocolate. Or if you prefer, put it in a glass bowl above a pan of boiling water for around four minutes whilst stirring regularly.
STEP THREE – Remove the bowl from the pan or microwave. Leave the melted mixture to cool to room temperature for around ten minutes. Be careful not to burn your hands please.
STEP FOUR – While you wait for the chocolate to cool, Tip 85g plain flour and 40g cocoa powder into a sieve held over a medium bowl.
Break 50g white chocolate and 50g milk chocolate into chunks. Keep this to the side for now…
STEP FIVE – Break 3 large eggs into a separate bowl and tip in 275g golden caster sugar. With a wooden spoon, mix the eggs, sugar, flour, and cocoa powder in. They will look thick and creamy once they’re ready.
STEP SIX – Pour the cooled chocolate mixture and mix in the dry ingredients too. Add your chocolate chunks and raspberries in here too and then give to all a good mix together.
The final step is to pour your mixture into the baking dish and put it into the oven for 20 to 25 minutes. They may not look cook but leave them to cool for 20 minutes and you will have the most delicious and gooey brownies.
Whilst you wait for the brownies do the washing up to keep the kitchen clean and pass time. I do typically wear gloves to protect my nails or put it into the dishwasher… Princess Problems hey!
25 minutes later…
Serve up your brownies once they have been left to cool and enjoy!
