Hello everybody and welcome back to a new blog post. It’s been a while!
You may have noticed that I’ve been a bit quiet on my blog for some time now. I hate that I haven’t posted in a while after posting content so regularly for the past 6 ‘ish’ years! Alongside the global pandemic, I’ve recently had some rather large life changes. These are taking up a lot of my ‘spare’ time and any free time I do have I’m quite burned out or exhausted. It’s time for a catch-up!
So let’s chat. What’s going on and where have I been?

Life change number one: I’m studying for a master’s degree in Digital Marketing at Kings College University in London.
I’ve always wanted to study for a master’s however, ideally after a year of industry work. With the pandemic and economy being topsy-turvey, I decided to study for my masters a bit early in hope that when I finish, the economy will be back to normal and I can achieve my dream job.
I’m unsure of what my ‘dream job‘ is right now however, I know it will be creative. Perhaps in the games, fashion, or beauty industry. These are all subjects that I’m passionate about and I never want to work a job I hate if I can help it. It’s a lot easier and more fun if you do what you love every day.
One day, I would love to be a blogger, writer, or own my own company full time. I liked the idea of being my own boss and owning my running my own ‘thing‘ whatever it may turn out to be.

Life change number Two: I’m finally a cat mum! I know?!
For those of you who have followed me for a long time or personally know me, you know that I am a crazy cat lady. I LOVE CATS. I’ve said forever that I want my own cat and for the past ten years, a ragdoll kitten. I guess the manifestation and dreaming finally came true…?
On October the 20th I adopted Indigo Blogs, also known as Indie for short. She is a (currently) 5-month-old Ragdoll kitten. Healthy, Happy, and rescued from a sadly allergic owner. I always wanted to adopt a cat rather than buy one directly from a breeder, with Ragdolls this can be quite tricky.
I didn’t film the process as it was quite stressful after being let down a few times with other kittens and I did not want to jinx anything! I did however film Indie’s first day in her furever home – you can watch it and watch her grow up on her Instagram @Indieblogs_
Indie is cheeky, curious, playful, loving, and totally adorable. She is quite honestly my entire world and I couldn’t imagine my life without her now. Myself, my boyfriend and my parents all adore her.
So as you can see, despite a global pandemic and countrywide lockdowns I’ve been rather busy with these life changes. All positive but time consuming for sure. However, I promise to make some changed in 2021. I want to get back into blogging. Expect a minimum of monthly posts and please be patient with me whilst I try and balance my new life and daily tasks.
