CBD has had a lot of talk lately, both positive and negative. Is it safe? Does it really help anxiety and depression, can it make a difference in your mood? These are all thoughts that I had too and reserves about CBD oil.
I was recently sent some CBD products so I’ll be reviewing them and letting you know my thoughts on CBD products. I have oils and skincare to test out. I will also be doing a giveaway so stay tuned until the end of the blog post…
Truverra kindly sent me some of their CBD products to test out and review. CBD has a lot of amazing benefits for both your mind and your dry or other blemished concerns. I was excited to test out some CBD and see the benefits.

I’ve spoken very lightly about my struggles with mental health, specifically anxiety. I don’t like to talk about it too much as I know many bloggers discuss it. Of course, that’s amazing and it’s good to discuss but for me, it’s rather personal and not something I want to jump on the bandwagon with so to say. It is also quite difficult to talk about and bring me back to some difficult times during my childhood and times at school. That’s in the past!
My anxiety is much better these days. It does still pop up and I do have the odd anxiety attack or anxious moments. I don’t think that it will ever leave me completely but it has and still is improving as am I.

I am interested to see if CBD can speed up my development and lessen my daily anxieties. CBD also has skin benefits as I mentioned and I suffer from such dry lips in these cold months, they ofter become cracked too!
Enough ramblings, let’s see the products and hear my thoughts shall we? Keep reading…
I have kindly been sent some CBD products to test out: CBD oil which is the typical form CBD comes in, Vape (e-liquid) although I don’t use that so gave it to my friend Jack to test out who will report back, some liquid CBD and lip balm (stick and pot form) to test out.
If I’m honest, I am most excited for the lip balm as I suffer from dry lips and I am aware of CBD’s skin benefits more than the oil. The oil I am concerned may taste not very nice and CBD liquid is the same. I am however very excited to see if both help with my anxiety because those of you who suffer from Anxiety will know it sucks!
CBD OIL

The CBD oil is a 10ml bottle with 3% CBD. The ingredients say; Cannabis sativa extract and Cannabis sativa seed oil.
The bottle advises using a maximum of 10 drops a day via your mouth or into a glass of water. Shake before use. It advises not to use whilst pregnant or breastfeeding. This is also not suitable for children so I would say only use if you’re 18 or above. If you’re under 18, ask your parents permission.
This CBD oil claims to be a nutritional supplement. The bottle says that this is, however, no substitute for a healthy diet. You use this alongside a healthy diet and lifestyle. The brand sells a range of 100% natural CBD items.
My thoughts? My oil smells quite chalky and the taste is quite chalky too. This is I guess why it’s advised to drop behind the tongue so you cannot taste the chalky scent which isn’t the nicest. This did help and the oil was tasteless so I would advise dropping 2 drops behind the tongue.
I did drop this into water to try that too but A it separated and B had that chalky taste which I can’t say I enjoyed so much. Drop this in your mouth instead would be my advice.
I used it whenever I felt anxious rather than daily. It’s hard to tell whether this is a placebo product or whether it really does help? Either way, it did make me feel calmer and slow my breathing but not straight away. Within I would say 5 minutes I noted a difference. I believe it worked for me!
CBD LIQUID

I was sceptical to try this product if I’m honest as I wasn’t sure about the flavour and taste of this CBD and vitamin C shot/drink? I was pleasantly surprised though. It honestly tastes okay and I really could see the benefits. I had moments were I was a little stressed, down or tired recently and overtime this did improve my mood. I had a cup/shot daily.
Within a week I saw a difference and more so within a month. If you’re looking for a new vitamin shot to help with overall wellness and anxiety then I would highly recommend trying this out.
CBD LIP BALMS

I loved the lip balms so so much!
I have said this before but I struggle with the driest lips during winter. Basic balms don’t typically do much for me but both of these lip balms worked wonders. I kept the small tube in my handbag and applied throughout the day. The pot is sat beside my bed and put on most evenings before I sleep. Highly recommend if you struggle with dry and cracked lips! This is honestly a life saviour and I expected it to be good but not this good…
CBD E-liquids ~ Green Apple and Cherry
This review comes from my friend Jack as I do not own a vape or vape at all. I never have so I asked him to test these out incase any of my followers also vape. I am sure some of you do?
Jack gave me a 100% honest opinion and said the following:
“Defiantly need the higher strength, also the pipette thing is way too wide, makes it tricky to get into the vape but as a whole the product is nice and seems to get the CBD in the system. Tastes great, love the flavours!”
