I love this blog post because I’m slightly nosey, interested to see other girls’ bedside beauty and looking for inspiration on how to keep my bedside tidy and organized. A calm space is a happy mind after all.
I hope you guys enjoy this blog post. Here’s a sneak peek into my bedside beauty essentials, current read and organization tips.

I don’t know about you but keeping my bedside table and drawers organized is always such a chore. I’m so bad at flinging stuff on my bedside table and making it look messy. I’m such a tidy person too so any mess stresses me out. Sleeping next to a messy bedside table is not calming!
This blog post is all about my bedside (beauty and life) essentials and how to keep your bedside (and draw/s) tidy.

First of all, let’s talk about what I’m sure all of you are most interested in. My beauty essentials. I have a few bits beside my bed that I use before I head off to dreamland. These help to look after my skin, calm and relax me.
SECTION ONE

I will normally apply my skincare before crawling into bed to get cozy. I do however have a few little beauty bits for those lazy nights or when I want to really treat myself as these are such gorgeous, luxurious treats.
I received a gorgeous ESPA gift set a while ago. I had never tried the brand but the packaging looked gorgeous and very luxurious so I keep it beside my bed. There is a night boosting oil and lip balm. Occasionally when my skin is dry and dull I will apply a small amount of this oil and lip balm.
Again, another product I have for those lazy evenings is this Divine Ultimate Sleep Cream from Formula Absolute. I received this in my advent calendar and adore its rich creamy consistency. My skin drinks it up every time!
Next, some cuticle oil. My cuticles get so dry and it’s so important to maintain them. I use this cuticle oil maybe every other night? It keeps my nails in great condition. I also have a hairband to tie my hair up, plait it, keep it out the way when I’m chilling in my bed at times.
SECTION TWO

I do struggle with anxiety sometimes so sleep can be an issue. It has been especially difficult during the current situation of the world. I’m sure many of you are going through the same anxieties and sleep struggles.
The Deep Sleep pillow spray from This Works is such a cult loved and very well known product by now. A relaxing and soothing mist with hints of lavender and chamomile, it helps you relax and doze off to sleep. It definitely helps relax me although on more anxious evening I opt for something a little bit stronger than a scented spray.
These herbal drops and spray from Welda are for the more anxious evenings. You can buy them from Holland and Barret prescription free. I either spray three times of drop 15 drops into water and within 15 minutes I will often find myself falling asleep. If you suffer from anxiety or insomnia, then I cannot recommend these drops enough to you!
Last but not least for my sleepy essentials is The White Company Spa scented rollable. I think this has now been discontinued which is such a shame. I take this on planes and holiday with me. This oil has such a soothing, of course, spa-like scent to relax and destress. Simply roll it on your wrists and temples to find your inner calm.
SECTION THREE

This section is the least interesting I’m afraid with all of my drugs and habit breakers. I won’t talk too in-depth about these items. Here’s the list: Iron tablets (prescribed), Contraceptive Pill (prescribed), Lighter to light my candles, Upper teeth brace, Anti nail-biting varnish.

Candle! on the side of my bed I have this divine pink apple and coconut candle from DW home but purchased from TK Max. There’s one on either side of my bed to make my bedroom cosy and delicious scented.
Above the candle on my light is a cute little polaroid of me and my boyfriend taken at Viktor and Rolfs Flowerbomb Dew event.

My current book of choice which I have almost finished is – Five, The untold lives of the women killed by Jack The Ripped. Such an interesting read, not too gory or scary and incredibly written, factual and told. I would highly recommend this book, there’s a fair bit of women power relayed too + the book itself is written by a girl! Woohoo…

The last little thing beside my bed is always a glass or in this case bottle of water. This adorable personalized water bottle is from Skinny Dip. I do wish that the personalization was in black so it showed up more but it’s still adorable and very Lauren (Pink+Mermaids?!) regardless.
I also have a jewellery dish and in Lauren fashion is a cute unicorn one. Very magical and adorable. This was a gift so I’m afraid that I can’t link it but there are so many cute dishes out there these days! Check out ASOS?
