If you watched my Black Friday haul on my YouTube channel a while back then you may remember me purchasing a pink facial cleansing brush. I said that I had wanted one for a while and finally treated myself during the Amazon sale. I also promised a review and it’s been a couple of months so I think it’s about time to share my thoughts…
Many bloggers have spoken about or used facial cleansing brushes. They are a great and fast way to cleanse your skin and remove makeup. I really wanted to test one out without spending too much money. Amazon was the first place I thought to look and found a great cleansing brush!
I managed to find this great cleansing brush from a brand called Holy Spirit. It’s pink, comes with a stand, an adorable kitty headband and 6 interchanging heads for various purposes and skin benefits.
There are six different heads that come with this cleansing brush and they do the various following: (1) gentle cleansing, (2) deep cleansing, (3) washing for dry or sensitive skin, (4) face and body massager, (5) exfoliating head and (6) a makeup removing sponge.
Most of the heads are really good and especially the soothing massage head (4). As you can see some are a little worn such as 2 – the deep cleansing brush and 6 – the makeup removing sponge has stained a bit as the foundation wouldn’t wash out.
For a price of £20 I would expect a bit better wear as these heads are only just over 6 months old which is a shame.
This facial cleansing brush is battery operated but it can also be charged via a USB which I prefer doing. I find batteries a pain and they’re not environmentally friendly either. The brush doesn’t run out of charge too soon and when it does, it charges in about half an hour.
Overall, I am happy with this cleansing brush. I use it at least daily and sometimes twice a day to cleanse my skin, remove makeup, exfoliate and give myself a soothing facial massage. For £20 I think it is good value!
