LOC eyeshadow sticks duo review

Recently I ordered my first ever Birchbox and as it was my first one they kindly sent me a gift. I got the option to receive a FREE eyeshadow stick duo so obviously, I accepted. I’ve never heard of or tried anything from LOC. They’re a new brand to me but one that I now love and will be hunting down to hit up more.

You can buy these eyeshadows from Birchbox direct for £8 each. The duo is only available to new Birchbox customers for one month only and this deal has sadly ended. However, I don’t think that £8 for an eyeshadow stick is badly priced at all!

I got sent the shades Out of your shell (White), Impress Me (Brown).

These eyeshadows have a creamy texture making them easy to apply and blend out. You can go for a simple eye look or build up the shadow and smoke it out. I like the idea that these sticks work for both a day and night look. The white can be applied in the inner crease of the eyes and under the eyebrow bone.

I haven’t previously got on with eyeshadow sticks because I’ve found them to be too hard on my eyelids. This is something that I have to be careful with as I wear contact lenses but these blended out so well. Their buttery texture makes application gentle and easy. Whether you’re a makeup expert or a newbie these sticks are something that everyone can get on with.

Below you can find the everyday makeup look that I created using both eyeshadow sticks. I used the brown shade on my lids and the white in the crease of my eyes.
