How are you guys doing? I’m feeling very festive today writing this Christmas gift guide and looking for the perfect gifts for under £100. I do one of these every year and they’re one of my favourite blog posts to research and write up. Not only is this a great blog post to give you guys gift ideas but I usually send it to friends and family as hints for what I want. This year I’m lucky enough to have a boyfriend – it’s been a while due to focusing on my degree but I’m so excited – Lee if you’re reading this then HINT HINT.
Anyway, without any more ramblings here if my gift guide. I’ve done gift ideas for him and for her. This is in no particular order but all gifts are under £100. Christmas can get expensive but I’ve got your backs with the perfect yet affordable treats – maybe some of these will even make the perfect treat to yourself. It can’t just be me who buys myself Christmas gifts…?
In July 2018, one of my closest friends that I met at university moved to New York City. Leah and I lived together in my final year of university! She studies Fashion Design at Birmingham City university and her work is amazing! I’ll leave a link to her work HERE for those interested.
She basically entered a competition in which she would ‘win’ a six-month internship with a knitwear company in New York City – amazing right?! Leah was so lucky to win and as soon as I heard the amazing news I knew I couldn’t go six months without her and started planning a trip!
I’ve been to New York City twice. Both times it stole my heart and I was sad to be leaving. It truly is a city that never sleeps and it’s one that I love. The hustle and bustle is just so different to London, the accents are great, people friendly and food delicious!
I have vlogged the entire trip so check out my YouTube channel to see what I got up to. I was originally going to do a photo diary full of snaps that I took in New York, but I have so many photos and they are all locations that I vlogged. I decided to just do my style guide and a haul over on my blog instead. If you do want to see my snaps from New York City then please check out my Instagram @Laurenblogs or watch my vlog HERE
This blog post will include; my fashion looks, restaurant recommendations and must see picture locations. Make sure to check out my vlog for even more recommendations! I will link it HERE.
Recently I was invited to see Goldsmith’s new store extension in the Bullring, Birmingham. Goldsmiths are a jewelry retail store who have been around since 1778. Goldsmith’s specialize in luxurious watches, jewelry and wedding rings… I would love some of the rings from Goldsmiths. Future boyfriend take note!
Throughout the year I’ve been planning and shooting an epic summer look-book. If you follow my social media channels then you may have already been lucky enough to see a preview of some outfits and locations over on my stories!
I hope that you’re all well and enjoying Lauren 2.0. I know I sure am and I’m so excited to have an updated look to my four-year-old website. Change is good!
Last week I was lucky enough to be invited to have a sneak preview at OASIS’s spring-summer collection as well as their collaboration with the Natural History Museum. I was so excited to be invited and blog + vlog about their new range!
Some of you may not know that before a was a ‘blogger’ I was a and still am a lover or alternative fashion and music. Some of my favorite bands include anything from While She Sleeps to Neck Deep. Basically heavy metal and pop punk genres which is my secret passion. I love a good mosh pit and crowd surf!

Boho Queen jewelry recently got in touch with me offering me a statement necklace of my choice available from their very cute and unique website. Boho Queen makes unique necklaces, accessories, and swimwear all at an affordable price whilst still offering great quality.
They say that their website offers products fit for a queen – that sounds good to me?!
I picked out the Simple Shells necklace from their website as I thought it would be perfect for the many beach holidays that I have coming up both this year and next year!
I purchased this necklace and received it three days later bubble wrapped! There was no cost for shipping and I found the price of the necklace to be very affordable.
I am actually an ambassador for Boho Queen so I did receive a discount but even at its original price I find the necklace to be very good quality for its cost!
I would highly recommend that you go check out Boho Queens website. It’s the perfect place to find some high quality yet affordable accessories and swimwear. Whether you’re jetting off on a winter holiday or in need of some new statement necklaces Boho Queen is the perfect place!
DISCOUNT CODE: Get 20% off Boho Queens whole site using the code: BoHoQueen
Let me know what you think of the shell necklace and what your favorite pieces from boho Queens site are?
