Zoeva Brush Review

Hi guys,

Recently I purchased some Zoeva brushes as a present to myself for getting into University!

I thought it would be good to give a review of the brushes as I’ve had them for a good 6 months now and I’m absolutely loving them! – I would definitely say that you pay for what you get when it comes to makeup brushes!

*Christmas is coming very soon too so maybe you will want to add this beautifully designed and made brush set to your Christmas wish list… 😉

Zoeva’s history:

“ZOEVA is a German brand, founded in 2008 by Zoe Boikou. The brand name ZOEVA is composed of ZOE, the Greek word for ‘life’ and EVA, the very first woman. From a basic range of only 10 makeup brushes, ZOEVA now offers a professional portfolio of over 50 makeup tools and 100 colors for a full face makeup routine. Our products are designed to make a real difference in the way women experience their beauty rituals.”

This brush set is called the complete brush set by Zoeva. It includes 15 of their best selling brushes and large leather look Zoeva clutch bag.

The brush set cost me £122.69 which includes tax and shipping from Germany. Although this does seem like a lot of money you have to remember that each brush is only £6 and if you buy this pack of brushes then you will have all of the basic brushes for both every day and evening makeup looks that you will need.

Cleaning:I have found these brushes very easy to clean and quick to dry. They take about a day to dry as they are very dense and so far I have had little fall out of hairs from the brushes.

Application: The brushes are some of the softest brushes that I have ever owned meaning that they’re a pleasure to use. My foundation, concealer, and eyeshadow etc blends like a dream with the brushes. The brushes are very easy for building up makeup as much or little as you want.

Use: I do honestly use all of the brushes except the 315 and 317 but that’s only because I prefer to use a pen style eyeliner. I have the most unsteady hand so me and liquid eyeliner do not agree!

Do you own any of Zoeva’s brushes or are there any Zoeva products on your wishlist? Please let me know in the comments as I would love to know!

See you soon,

Lauren, XO
